Hip hop beats are appearing on more and more dancehall albums these days. Sometimes this changes the dancehall vibe completely, causing the 2 styles to sound incompatible. Capleton didn't let that happen on "Pain" which features the "Fire Man," Bobo Zaro and Contractor singing over a super chill, minimal hip hop groove. The video for "Pain" is #1 in the MVP Top 10 Video Countdown this week:It's been a long wait for Capleton to release something to his international fans. He's been active, but only locally as far as what I've heard in the last year. I hope that changes soon!
