TAKE OFF YOUR SOCKS LEST THEY BE KNOCKED

My Dad Likes Blur...

Posted about 1 month ago

Watched BBC tv's "How Not To Live Your Life" earlier today and was amused at this conversation between a few 20-year old blokes and one 29 yr old geeza. The convo is accompanied by confused looks and goes something like, "LP?... CD?... Wot, you legally downloaded it?..." LOL, watch:

Video on Bebo if ya don't see the player...

That clip is from Season 1 Episode 4, which also has some funny scenes at the club, like 4 Dance Moves Don Should Not Do (including the Robot Dance). I don't care what anyone says, Robot Breakdancing is still ACE in my book!

I like blur.  I'm old enough to be their dad.  I really enjoyed the revenge fantasy.

Didn't know about this show but if that's indicative of it I'll be setting the VCR. If I can figure out how to get the flashing "00:00"s to stop.

mitchy - not a "geezer" a "geeza"...  it's not much different than saying fella or bloke, but i used it this way to indicate the mood in the video.  don't worry, 30 still isn't over the hill!  (if it is, i'm already rollin down the other side!!)

Jonh - i just discovered this show recently & already i've watched all of season 1 plus all of season 2 that's aired so far.  it's been hilarious so far - basically about this guy thinking thru all the scenarios of what he could say/do but then ultimately doing what most of us would in the end...

as Homer Simpson would say, "With sexy results!"
