There is a lot happening in the reggae music scene this week. Instead of trying to cover it all, I thought I would drop a list of links so you can follow up on anything that interests you.1 week after what would have been Bob Marley's 63rd b-day, his son the reggae producer-turned-singer Stephen Marley won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. The young rudeboy's 2007 release Mind Control beat out veteran legends Burning Spear, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Sly & Robbie and Toots & The Maytals. More info at Oonu Culture.Meanwhile, Buju Banton's newest album Too Bad won Album of the Year awarded by Excellence in Music & Entertainment (EME). This time Stephen Marley lost to Buju, as did Tarrus Riley, Da’Ville, Chuck Fender and Lady Saw!
