New Benga Album Pushed To February, Album Cover Revealed

It was way back in October when I first reported about the release of "Night," the first single off Benga's new album: Diary of An Afro Warrior. The single dropped on schedule, 5 November, and the album was due "shortly after." Well, as of Xmas time, I still wasn't able to find a copy for sale anywhere and no word on what happened. Over the holiday I found myself listening to an archived RinseFM show from November that had Benga droppin bass bomb after bass bomb and N-Type runnin tings pon di mic. N-Type revealed that Diary Of An Afro Warrior is now coming out in February, and Benga confirmed it on the air. I'm still on the lookout for more specifics and streaming audio and today I found the album cover art -I dig it. Classic 70's Mile Davis shot? Benga played a *mad* set that featured at least a few tunes from the upcoming new album and one-of-a-kind remixes - including a sick remix of "Night".
