Mavado's huge birthday bash, a major music event in Jamaica, called the Real McKoy, was shut down early by soldiers and police. Over 2000 patrons at the Temple Hall Estate were randomly searched, though no charges were pressed at the end of the night. Luckily, the singer will get a second chance to celebrate staying alive this long. His US birthday bash is scheduled for December 14th at the infamous dancehall spot, Club Amazura in NYC. The Amazura party will feature Wyclef Jean, Busta Rhymes, Bounty Killer, Munga Honourable and more. So, if you haven't already, get your tix and mark your calendars!Read Riddim Jamaica for more info...Mavado has become dancehall's hottest and fastest rising star this year with his major-label debut earlier this summer.
