Beenie Man To Perform With Alicia Keys At AMA This Sunday

Posted over 2 years ago
Alicia Keys is one of a handful of artists who will debut new material on the American Music Awards this Sunday. Lenny Kravitz, Beyonce, Rhianna, Duran Duran and Maroon 5 are all gearing up for live performances at the awards show as well, but Keys act has a few special surprises is store. Dancehall sources say that ragga-kingpin Beenie Man, who collaborated on an official remix of Keys' latest single "No One," will be called on stage by the soul-diva to launch into his hit "Who Am I?" Despite his performance in Negril on Saturday night, Beenie Man flew to the States to rehearse with Alicia Keys today. He will fly to Negril tomorrow for the concert, than fly to L.A. for the Awards show with his controversial new friend Barbee at his side. Beenie and Barbee currently have the number one spot on the Jamaican music charts for their smash hit "Give It Up." This marks the fifth time Beenie has hit number one with a female collaboration tune. I can't wait to see the performance at the AMA, "Who Am I?" is a fantastic song on the Playground riddim. Beenie made the song quite awhile ago, but it continues to be a crossover smash for him. Here's the original video showing a young BMan:
