$10K Each - Signed Kurt Cobain Drawings For Sale On Craigslist!

Artist:
Is Courtney Love in trouble? Does she owe money to the mob? Gambling problem? Drugs? Or is she finally ready to part with the last of Kurdt's belongings? Ready to move on perhaps. I ask these questions because some anonymous Craigslister has posted some interesting Cobain memorabilia for sale on the legendary online classifieds website. The Olympia, Washington Craigslist has "Original/Signed" Kurdt Cobain artwork for sale. Here is the ad:
This is a drawing by Kurdt Cobain, but not one of the ones being sold...Is anyone mad enough about Nirvana or its beloved singer to drop a college fund amount of money on sketches? Until his death, only very close friends and family had seen his drawings which were usually very detailed. The Aberdeen Museum of History (in Aberdeen, near Seattle, where Cobain spent his formative years, including high school) had some of his artwork on display in 2004. Of course, anyone can buy the "Journals" for 20 quid/30 bucks and have all the drawings you want. Their guaranteed authentic and some of them are signed by the artist, but they aren't original copies of course.I found the online ad via HARP Mag, and tracked it down on Craigslist because I almost couldn't believe it. Sure enough, it's there. So this got me wondering - Which musician(s) do you love so much that you would jump at the chance to own some personal artifact of theirs? Separate question - What is the most money you would be willing to spend on a piece of artwork (by any artist)? And which artist/artwork would it be?If anyone is seriously considering hunting down these doodles by Kurdt, here is the link and some wise words from Fred Mills over at HARP:http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/clt/475518217.html
KURT COBAIN ARTWORK ORIGINAL/SIGNED - $1I have 4 original and signed drawings by Kurt Cobain. Various sizes, mostly Fender guitar related subject matter. These were done when Kurt was in high school in the 1980's. Quite rare and unusual. Serious inquiries only. $10,000.00 each.

Insist on a notarized certificate of authenticity. Meanwhile, start casting your net around for the budding celebrities in your circle of acquaintances: "Hey, uh, don’t throw away that napkin you were drawing naked sketches of your history teacher, dude, I’ll take it off your hands…."Read more about Cobain's artwork (he talked of quitting music and opening a gallery!) in this Seattle Times article from 2004:Kurt Cobain: a life 10 years goneThis one was allegedly drawn by Kurdt at age 6, but again, not one of the drawings being sold.
