Yesterday was a favorite holiday of mine, Lundi Gras, the precursor to today's Mardi Gras festivities. In celebration, I'm posting what sounds surrounded me as a youth in this world...

If I could find the videos, this would also feature the big-head costumes from Mardi Gras parades, The Meters/Neville Brothers/The Radiators live at Mardi Gras and that congo marching band I can't remember the name of...

    9th = Terrific marching unit!  Real fun! 

    Dr. John certainly is the real crusty old thing, and alwarys has been so.  I thought so back in the 70s.
