I'm a music history buff, so I was stoked to learn that Rex is from the old school UK scene:
Around 1994, UK resident Jake Williams started putting out really divaish big room house records under the alias JX, and after a name-change a decade later to Rex The Dog, hasn't broken stride.
That explains the funk-n-groovy swing to his tunes.
