BBC 1Xtra dj Robbo Ranx will be covering the Notting Hill carnival and Leeds Music Festival in the UK for his radio show. In addition to reporting from the music festivals, Ranx will also get the opportunity to do an exclusive interview with Jah Cure. You may have noticed that Jah Cure is the talk of the town in reggae circles lately, so this is a big opportunity for Ranx. The Voice newspaper spoke with Ranx about the interview:
Voice: What can we expect from your interview with Jah Cure?Robbo Ranx: Over the past few years, he's been regarded as a phenomenon within reggae circles, so I know there are lots of people who want to hear what he has to say now that he's released. I want to talk to him about his career and of course, whether he plans to make any attempt to clear his name now that he's out of prison. It's hard to say what his career will hold. He's definitely a big talent, regardless of all the hype and publicity that's surrounded him. He's got a lot of support and a lot of potential.
