9th Wonder Solo Debut With Dream Merchant

Did a bunch of hip hop beat makers get together last year and have a labor meeting? I wonder, because this is the year for sought-after producers to drop solo debut albums! I'm already stoked for the new Havoc album, having heard his beats all over the place, Swizz Beatz is dropping his One Man Band, Mr J. Medeiros is releasing his soul's work as a solo piece, and now we're getting news of 9th Wonder's solo wax. The album is titled Dream Merchant Vol. 2 and it is set for release October 9th on Six Hole/Hall of Justus Records. Naturally, being a sought-after hip hop rhythm section, there will be some sweet collaborations going on from some old friends. 9th Wonder brings to the mic: Mos Def, Jean Grae, Royce the 5'9, Little Brother, Keisha Shontelle, Sean Price and a score of others! Previously 9th Wonder has produced music for a long string of hits you probably know well, with Jay-Z, Destiny’s Child, Mary J.
