I'm not a Patti Smith fan. At all. But last week, Sloan played a mix before they went on stage, and it included this song and I said, "You know what, I really like this." It's heartfelt and sweet and genuinely romantic and incredibly uncool. And I think we'd all be a bit better off if we had a whole lot more of that.
