Once again, in going through my music library I came across another gem that had all but escaped my mind for a long time. I first heard this in my early college years, and I didn't realize the genius until years later. Yes, it's a little on the weird side, and I don't what genre to file it under. Hip hop? Trip hop? Electronic? Just straight weird? The wikipedia page calls it acid rap (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kool_Keith), so maybe I will go with that. In any case, I like it. It puts me in some strange mood that I can't describe.Rolling Stone magazine described it as "....Occupying the heretofore-undefined area where hip-hop meets hallucinatory sci-fi and porn....a 3 Feet High and Rising for the age of hardware and cynicism...". It mentions porn. That means I like it automatically.
