Another mixtape for you. These are a sampling of the 150 or so songs that are on my "pre-game" playlist. Basically, songs I like to listen to before my basketball games to get my mind right. Enjoy.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

BTW, am I the only one that finds Maroon 5 covering Closer is downright creepy?

Being 30 years old, the decade that influenced me the most during the years that shaped who I am had to be the 90's. Before 1994 or 1995 (I don't remember exactly", I listened to strictly hip hop. Then, when I got my first serious girlfriend my junior year in high school, I did a lot of driving because she lived about 20 minutes away. It was during these drives that I would flip around the various rock stations to see what they were all about. I remember hearing bands like Bush, 311, The Stone Roses and Pearl Jam in my mom's minivan and thinking to myself "wow....this is actually good stuff." And so it began, brought me through college and to where I am today.
Here are some of the songs that bring me right back to those years. How I miss them so.
Track listing (Artist - Song):
1. Korn - Blind
2. Jeff Buckley - Dream Brother
3. Deftones - 7 Words
4. Candlebox - You
5. Bush - Everything Zen
6. Alice in Chains - Rooster (live)
7. Pearl Jam - Garden
8. Blind Melon - Mouthful of Cavities
9. Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff
10. Living Colour - Cult of Personality
11. Nine Inch Nails - Head Like A Hole
12. Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
13. Pennywise - Bro Hymn
14. Primus - My Name Is Mud
15. Rage Against The Machine - Know Your Enemy
16. Seven Mary Three - Cumbersome
17. Smashing Pumpkins - Today
18. Stone Temple Pilots - Vasoline
19. Tool - Sober
20. 311 - Down

Wow, Korn into Jeff Buckley, gotta love the diversity of that!
Hahaha....Korn came well before Jeff Buckley. I got into Jeff Buckley when I was in college, around 1997. But hey, I am a diverse person I guess!

The three guys from the New Seekers released one album without the girls. Listen carefully though, Lyn and Eve's backing vocals shine through.
An article published in Disc on 29th September 1973 reported that Marty Kristian "wasn't too keen on the material" for this album; "It's some of the stuff we do on stage, and a few compositions of my own that are more rock orientated ... I like some of the things on it, not others, but I'm more or less like that with every record."
In another interview, Marty explained to a reporter from Popswop how the album had come about: "On our last British tour, when Peter Doyle was still with us, we began to think of something different to present. As Peter D had just started playing electric guitar in the act, we hit upon the idea of doing a rock and roll medley with just [the] boys performing. The idea worked well and so the whole feeling of the'Peter, Paul and Marty' album was born.
When the time came to record the album, Peter Doyle had left the New Seekers. His replacement, Peter Oliver, flew out to the USA, w<a href = "http://mp
