In the randomness of life, which I love, I grabbed a past "Sing Out" magazine from the public library shelf the other night & there was an article on Kim & Reggie Harris. Of whom I'd never heard. In a nutshell, they were playing the folk circuit but not getting any break out work - quite possibly because of their color, when they decided to connect with their audiences by singing folk songs of their roots.
