MUSIC SIGNPOSTS ON THE WEB'S LONELY ROAD

Artist:
Album: Woodface, Temple of Low Men, Together Alone, Crowded House
Track: Fall At Your Feet, Into Temptation, Weather With You, Distant Sun, Something So Strong

Crowded House is one of the Greatest. Pop. Bands. Ever.

Blame this post on Blair. However, I will thumb-wrestle anyone who feels differently. How can you not adore:

-the harmonies? -the jangling guitars? -the unabashedly romantic lyrics? -the pure pop shiny brilliance?

Crowded House is better than Paxil. As evidence, I offer the following:

Fall At Your Feet, from Woodface (1991)

Into Temptation, from Temple of Low Men (1991)

Weather With You, from Woodface (1991)

Distant Sun, from Together Alone (1993)

Something So Strong, from Crowded House (1987)

Man, Crowded House is one of those bands that I love every song I've ever heard by them - but still never got around to getting a cd. I'm sure there were alot of buried treasures there.

You will not get any arguement from me on this one. They are such a great band, and I listen to them at least once a week.
