Just said this on Cody's, too, but while I think this might be good, I'm worried about whether or not it will end up with negative consequences instead? I mean, could this instead piss of the powers that be? Unless they use the time to fix, will it accomplish anything other than the possible beginnings of negative feelings on both sides? and what about those who strike vs. those who don't?

Groon: I understand your concerns. My take is that the strikers aren't doing anything except not using the site for a week. People go away for a week or two all the time. Totally benign. We are simply being overt about a common reason.
