Funky Friday: Music for Pimpin'

Posted over 2 years ago
Deadly Avenger is the code name for a Midlands, UK dj whose given name is Damon Baxter. That's about all I know about him, other than he's done a ton of stuff on Shadow Records, and I love this record right'cher:It's stretching the funky a little bit, but hey, stretching is what we do best around here. This record just makes me want to drive fast. I like this guy's sound. It's very symphonic, with a wall-of-sound feel to it. Deadly Avenger on MySpace

  16. Zaorish says I like how this song (Punisher by Deadly Avenger) is a kind of combination of funk and trance music--sort of a meeting of 70s and 00s.
