HHT: Jay-Z and Linkin Park: Numb

Here's my cat Bishop, who has arthritic legs and might not last much longer. My three cats were named after characters in the movie Aliens (Newt, Ripley, Bishop). If you remember, Bishop saved Newt and Ripley at the end. Bishop has saved my life a thousand times over just by being his little fat-butted self:Here's the song played at the beginning of every NC State home basketball game this season. At the time, I thought it was a bit off-base. But the rap made it and it got us all pumped up: one last time I need y'all to roar. I don't give a f**k if it's a good song or if Jay-Z is a good rapper or a sellout. I love the song and it makes me feel good.I came I saw I conquered . . . if you want an encore, I need you to scream until your lungs get sore . . .

    Augusts1 says Awwwww isn't Bishop cute! He is a chunky boy, heh! I like Jay-Z but not a huge fan. Same w/Linkin' Park but I do have to say they put on a good show & sound great live. Great names for your cats btw from a classic sci-fi movie!

    mktackabery says chul ::: thanks. i guess this post was my way of saying, Bishop made me strong for so long, I'm just trying to stay strong, and this song was helping me do that. He is sitting on my lap right now interfering with my typing, so I think he is feeling better. :) August ::: of course as my twin, you know I am a creative soul. fp ::: i have no idea what that means, actually.     zoot says i was at that live8 show. i actually caught the linkpark jay-z set twice, as i photographed their 40 minute soundcheck, the nite before, right on the same stage. best to you & bishop. feel better!

    Jammy Jeff says Bishop looks cool. I had a cat like him, and he was a champion mouser even though he'd got a big belly. My vet recommended cod liver oil capsules every day for him, and it did improve his arthiritis a lot.

I got some amoxicillin (read: horse pills) last night. jeff ::: i'll try those too. he was up and about some last night and did climb up his little stairs to sit on my lap, which was very encouraging. dermahrk ::: ok, and i'll spare you the fur and bad breath back at ya. :)
