I love you & hate you MOG . . . to go through this.
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun.
But the wine and the song,
like the seasons, all have gone.
So for your iteration pleasure, MOG-that-isn't-Facebook:
- cannot upload without tagging file first.
- Tagged file, then clicked on audio. Got an error message - tag file first.
- Tried again. Ditto. And again. Ditto.
- Realized this doesn't work in Firefox 3.1. Moved to IE7.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 three more times, except now my entire screen is frozen and I can't do anything else. On third try, I get a browse window. Oh! MOG's just taking a butt-ugly long time to give me a window. Hmm. database must be CLOGGED with people uploading tracks at 1:17 EST on a Monday. Yeah, thought so.
- Selected track and clicked open. Track began to download, then stopped at 43.48%. Then hung. and hung.
- Repeat step 6 . . .
- Received error #2038. No explanation what that error is, but if MOG has 2038 errors, Jesus hates MOG. But what do I know?
- Publish post, and attempt to return to upload track. Click publish, and receive Error On Page message. Copy text into clipboard again, and F5.
- Page refreshed, and I get a congratulatory message. Wow, I'm thrilled. Now let's get to the damned track.
- Enter only artist and track name this time since I don't want a yellow button on my post.
- When I click the audio tab, text in the post window disappears.
- Repeat steps 11 and 12. Ditto.
- This is when I give up, David.
The track was by Nicolay and Little Brother, but I'm too pissed to talk about why I loved this particular piece of music now. I'm out.

Hmm, I didn't experience this problem on Friday, everything worked fine for me. I hope it's a temporary issue. For me MOG actually improved a bit, as I can post meanwhile with Opera (before only commenting worked), what I couldn't do before. Didn't try Firefox since then.
Don't leave us because of those hopefully temporary technical issues, Michelle.
...i'm sure its being worked on and the new changes that are coming down the pipe will wash all the bad taste from your mouth. ;)
actually, a similar thing happened to me yesterday when i was trying to do my second post since june. i gave up after about 20 minutes of frustration. it was just a nice reminder of why i don't post much here anymore.
I have no problems at all. I use Firefow 2.0.0.17. Things work good on my end.

Other than a posting pictures problem I had, which has since been worked out, things are running smooth for me. Except I didn't get the notification foe this post, and learned about it through the other M. That's a problem I have occaisionally. Still, nothing like what some other people seem to go through.
