YOU CAN'T NOT GET NO SATISFACTION

I just made a MOG Blidget

Posted about 1 year ago

I just made a little widget for my blog today to put my MOG posts on my blog page. The link for my widget is here, but anyone can make their own MOG Blidget to put on their own page.

I thought it was a nice way to promote your MOG posts in other places and spread the word about MOG. You have to register for a free Widgetbox account to build a widget, and you don't need any programming knowledge to do it.

Trust me Kev, not hard at all. It's a little three-step wizard, you put in your feed url, pick a color and call it what you want, then publish it; the site does all the hard work. Once it's published you then copy and paste the code on your blog facebook or wherever. You have the option to get Flash or JavaScript code; I recommend Java code, it's more accessible and works on just about every browser.

Hey Michelle - that's awesome. Thanks for sharing, and especially for adding "no programming knowledge to do it." That's exactly how much programming knowledge I have! ;-)

Seriously, this might get me to rivive my long dormant blog.  Cheers!

Spent the last 45 minutes trying to figure it out.  Must be doing something wrong.  Signed up to the new account.  No matter how many times...never got to do the three steps.  We ended up with your blidget instead.  *lol

Which feed are you putting in?  Is it the one that ends after the MOG webaddress and your account with /blog/xml?  Can't seem to get the MOG post like yours.  Keep ending up with a corner of MOG instead.
