Public MOG bitching: Why are RSS feeds useless?

My MOG RSS feed (the xml script provided) continually mashes up my posts and the posts of others. I have continually tried to keep up with my fellow MOGsters via RSS b/c the slew of emails is too much, but their feeds don't work either. I've been experimenting with new aggregating sites like Tumblr and Soup today and both sites have mashed up my feeds, but it's not the fault of the aggregators . . . it's the feed. According to my Blog Posts feed, I've posted a hell of a lot today. Fix the code, MOG kids. Unless Ruby is as crappy as advertised . . .

    zoot says there are a few things that i could complain about regarding the 'new' mog... however the rss feeds wouldn't be one of them. as long as i'm currently logged into mog - the feeds seem to work just fine. which rss reader are you using? i'll have to check out tumblr.

    mktackabery says zoot: in Safari, your blog/xml page shows your latest post, dated today, 5:36 p.m., titled "nyc 9/11." In Bloglines, this is also the most recent of your posts. It is the same for tumblr, soup, lifestrea.ms, and the three separate wiki modules I've been testing for another project. Google Reader is the only reader I've found that displays MOG posts correctly.

    zoot says Michelle: In addition to google reader... the firefox add-on, "Wizz RSS" seems to be working properly with Mog as well. yet, i have no idea why bloglines, etc,refuses to jive with Mog... but, perhaps someone from "tech support" can enlighten us with that info. - happy 2008.
