Tack's Twelve Days of Christmas, Number Eight: The James Scott Farrin Holiday Party Edition

Posted about 4 years ago
I am just about to get gussied up and head out to the Umstead Hotel and Spa for the annual Law Offices of James Scott Farrin holiday party, where we will celebrate our tenth anniversary and a drop-dead year where internet marketing experienced 68% growth. Woo Hoo! As happy as that makes me, tonight is bitter sweet. I have accepted a great job offer with IBM in Research Triangle Park, and so will be leaving the firm in a week. Next week, tears. Tonight, champagne, cocktails, dancing, memories, and laughter. For that, I need me some Neville, y'all:Louisiana Christmas DaySong of BernadetteAve Maria:

  1. mickimicki says NOOOOOOO! Mog just asked me whether how I wanted my music... Rhapsody, paying X bucks a month, Rhapsody (25 free streams), or free 30 second samples - and since I'm outside the US, I had no choice but choose the free samples. So I got my 30 seconds of Aaron Neville. OH NO. It is time to go! (Damn Michelle I hate that this had to happen on your post...)

  2. Bartleby says The 30 seconds are the alms offered to us un-American Moggers by MOG and Rhapsody. These are most of the time randomised "highlight" of the track (seldom the intro). We've got the video to make up for some of it. Like it, MK.

  4. chucky says Congrats on the new job. I believe your new job is going to bring you right by my house - I live right outside of RTP. We should have lunch sometime.

  7. mktackabery says thanks everyone. ash, I'll drop you a line soon. dar: my current office is right on the edge of RTP so I've worked around there for the last 4 years. It is actually pretty large and the number of businesses there is astounding. IBM's campus is also pretty astounding . . . it's definitely going to be a big change.
