the last Voodoo spell

This is from the last Jimi Hendrix concert performance. Not sure if Jimi knew this was his last show or not. Don't know when he cancelled the rest of the tour. But all the crap he was dealing with needed attention. I'm thinking he wasn't wanting to continue as he started the show bc not only were they booing him (not his fans, but the German motorcycle gang) when came onstage "I don't give a fuck if you boo, as long as you boo in key, you motherf....", but it was also bad weather the day before making the event a hassle and Billy was ill that made him cancel the final 5 dates or so.
This last of the last, VC, has an ending that is brilliant, forceful, and final. After it was over he told the crowd "Thank you, goodbye, peace" He never said "goodbye" like that before afaik. Maybe it was MORE final in his mind this time.

Thank you!!
It's so nice to hear Jimi from oter people's players!
Here's a recording from a few years back I did with my trio.
Machine gun( a simplified version, lyrically ) I played on my strat and broke two strings...then voodoo chile I played on my only back up that night, my baby taylor acoustic! Thank god for bass solos. It gave me a chance to switch guitars...
Song starts at 20 seconds...

unpretentious, fresh, very-Jimi-like, talented, right on licks, and a splash of some of SRV's soul, if you can dig it.
