Genesis is a band I sure have tried to like, you know what I mean? So many people who's opinion I respect a lot really like this band, and yet....
...maybe Its 'cause I.....or they......I don't know.
I guess I lost my taste for "grandiose rock". Right around the time King Crimson became the Robert Fripp show. I had a friend in the Army who thought the sun rose n set with The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway., I just couldn't hear it.
But this track is an aural treat for stoners (from what I've been told).
I only recently started to "get" Rage Against The Machine. Not quite sure why but i sure do appreciate "musicians", and these are some of the best around-and this song really shows the power of live music.

I have liked everything I've ever heard of this band. Sadly I haven't heard too too much. But they rock the way I like it, Musically they're close to the bone, not a lot of extraneous flourishes or pretentions.
They have alwways been great.
