MOG

I'm only 30, and 30's really not bad -- I got married at 27 and I'm planning on celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary, which means my life isn't even half over yet. That's still pretty young.

Lately, though, little music-related pieces of my days have made me feel REALLY old ...

Like, for example, driving home for lunch last week, it was a beautiful 60+ degree day out (in Colorado, in FEBRUARY, which is glorious, global warming be damned) ... and I was driving with the windows down, radio loud and me singing even louder and drumming on the steering wheel singing along to Steely Dan's "Reelin' in the Years" ...

And today, same scenario - nice sunny day, driving to run a few errands, and I find myself smiling and singing loudly along to The Guess Who's "American Woman" ...

Man, I'm old.
