Concerts! Concerts! Concerts!

Well it turns out now I have THREE concerts to go to this year, which brings it to a total of four this year. Which is very good for me. Part of the reason is that people are actually coming to my city *gasp*The first one is rather embarrassing:*The MacDonald Brothers*First of have to say that the main reason I'm going is that my stepdad's niece is in the support band, so I'm interested to see what they're like. But it will be a good laugh too!For those of you who don't know, The MacDonald Brothers were one of the 12 finalists in The X Factor in the UK (think American Idol but way better cause it's more competative - each judge has their own group, over 16s, over 25s and groups). The MacDonalds were in the groups which always seems to be the crap category. They weren't awful or anything just kinda average. And Simon would slaughter them every week. They've released an album in the UK, which surprise, surprise is full of covers. Still 500 Miles should be fun! Here is the performance I think Simon hated the most:*Elton John*This is more of a family thing, and a total one off. It did cost a lot, but should be a lot of fun cause no one this big ever comes to where I live. And the big one......*Olivia @ La Loco in Paris*YAY! I got my ticket yesterday. I never thought I'd see any jpop/rock artists! Actually my friend and I were discussing who we would go into the mosh pit for back when we were at Within Temptation and I said I would do it for Olivia (though I think she's the only artist I like who's likely to have a mosh pit).My family and I are going on holiday to Paris in July, although they leave before the concert, so I'm staying behind. And the hotel we're booked into, just happens to be probably as close as you can get to the venue - walking distance anyway! Gonna have to bring a book to keep my occupied for the day I'm alone and I'll be prepared to queue on the 6th! I hope to meet other english-speaking Olivia fans! And get loads of merchandise! Think I'm going to have to think of what my perfect setlist would be. I'm so glad for my credit card. This is kinda the reason I have it - for music related emergencies. It's costing £200 so far, and that's in addition to the money for the rest of the holiday, but it's OK, cause I have all the money for my hol, just all the Olivia related stuff to go on my credit card. It might be a little scary being by myself (and kinda lonely!) but it'll be worth it. My mum gave me this Paris book which I shall read as it has useful phrases, which I'll brush up on. I vaguely remember bits of it. I think maybe I would like a t-shirt is "J'voudrais un tee shirt" and I'll try to remember all the lingo for ordering in an restaurant. Anyway enough rambling now...
