First Concert of 2009!

Artist:
I've got a concert lined up for 2009! (Though it might not be the "coolest" lol). Yep I'm going to see Take That in June!
Wasn't a fan first time round but I do enjoy their big tunes from back in the day. Think I was maybe 9 when the split up and wasn't hugely into music then (or boybands), though I remember seeing clips of crying girls on the telly! I watched the documentary reuniting them back in 2006 and then came the surprising annoucement they were going to make a comeback.
I was curious about their comeback but wasn't expecting it to go as amazingly well has it has. Heard Patience on the radio and thought, "Hey...this is good!", Shine was a good old pop tune and I really liked Rule The World. So despite never being one for boybands - or should I say manband now - I've actually liked their new stuff.
I also read an interview with them in one of the supplements with The Times this weekend which was quite interesting. Gary was talking about how, after he was dropped as a solo artist after the group split, no one wanted to touch him. And how frustrating it was as all he wanted to do was music. (He also mentioned it got to the point where he was too embarrased to mention his name when asked for credit card details.) Really shows how the music industry can chew you up and spit you back out.
Anyway my friend and I were saying we should go see them next time they tour. I was listening to Chris Moyles as usual last week, only to hear a tour announcement and have now bought my tickets (off Ebay - wasn't desperate enough to take time off work plus it sold out in 30 mins anyway).
So I'm looking forward to hearing all the new singles at the concert as well as the brilliantly camp cover of Relight My Fire (how much fun is that gonna be?) and Never Forget. (Why was that not their last single, instead of the awful How Deep Is Your Love cover)
So might as well post some videos - Patience, Shine and their most famous song, probably known to those in the US too, Back For Good:

looks like they took the video down :(
Too bad there's no Mr. Williams there.
Good for you!
