Was bad and listened to the full version of Mika's new Nana single, Hitoiro yesterday. Normally I'd like to hold off till I get the single, so I won't "spoil" myself. (I hadn't heard any of my first jpop CD Deep River, unless you count Simple & Clean, so now I like to avoid hearing as much of the album as possible, though that doesn't always happen!) So far I've listened to the song 4 times and have deleted it. It's really great - different from Glamorous Sky. I got my Nana DVD the other day - love all the performances in it! Anyway, it's a pop rock song, which doesn't bother me as the only reason I have an interest in Nana is because of Mika, but Black Stones are supposed to be punk rock so some of the other Nana fans might not like it as much. (I prefer the film to the mangas I own the first 3, but not sure if I'll buy the whole series or not). Takuro [sp? from Glay] did a really good job! I love Mika's voice in it and am looking forward to hearing the b side. I wonder if Ai Yazawa has any input into how the song will sound? I'm tempted to buy the single, but I'll have enough stuff coming over the next couple of months for my b-day and xmas, which is another problem - custom charges! I won't be paying them as they're pressies anyway, but should I risk a custom charge or hope that the price of shipping stuff seperately will be lower? It'll be a bit of a pain having some of the stuff arriving seperately though... Back on topic now, there's going to be a Nana starrring Mika Nakashima album called The End - which'll probably be a mini album - so maybe I should just wait for that. Hope to hear Yuna's single soon and see the PV (coughwhichwasshotinSCOTLANDcough...wonder if any of the film was too?) Also hoping to see the PV for Hitoiro and a trailer for Nana 2 featuring the 2 songs!Am also thinking of getting Mika's calendar (it's between her and Kumi - though I wish Hyde was doing one too!) I really like the concept for Mika's calendar - each picuture represents a song, either a single or album track. I wish she had done one for Oborozukiyo~Inori & Legend though. Think more artists should do this. This is the Kumo no Ito pic, which is kinda creepy but also really cool!
