  3. brian1 says I don't normally listen to this type of music but 2 Christmas's ago I got their CD. I've never listened too much of it. But because of this post, I'll go give it a try.

  7. chulsmith says taste the secret, in my opinion, is their weakest record. journey to anywhere is very good as is bang for the buck.

  8. Mike the Knife says Friggin' funny - and clever, too! An all too familiar sitch...

  9. mickimicki says @Mike: I laughed out lout when I heard it for the first time... @ Chul: I've had the album for quite some time and didn't think it was _that_ great either, but I changed my mind a few days ago when I played the whole thing while cruising on the sunny streets of.. you know... LA.. I had also been under the impression that U.D. are from the Bay Area, but they're apparently from LA, so maybe I needed the natural habitat to like it. All these Latin samples seemed to make complete sense here etc.

  10. poebegone says sweet. yet another underrated group (unless they've become huge stars since i last checked), keeps the faith in hiphop. i'm with you on the opinion that certain music do not fit certain environments. i got into a lot of dEUS, Zita Swoon, Moondog Jr., etc. when i lived briefly in Belgium once, and then i went back to my tropical country and it just didn't make as much sense. (ps. uhrm, i'm back!)
