    Music Sounds Better With You
Well... February the 14th is over, and as I suggested somewhere else yesterday, every day should be the day to share some love. So I'll start out with this...Today was a grey, wet, ugly day over here, my work sucked, and I had several boring errands to run... thankfully, I had my iPod with me and stumbled upon this chunky slice of house goodness from the friends from Paris. Talk about strutting down the street with a grocery bag... enjoy!

  3. mickimicki says @ Dale & Rawk: YES, I think that tune would make a dead body smile & dance if its ears could still hear... maybe doctors should start prescribing it, 3 times a day against melancholy...

  4. fistula spume says Love this song. There's a compilation of Alan Braxe songs that came out in 2005 called Alan Braxe and Friends. I haven't gotten it yet but I'm sure it's great. Have you heard his song Rubicon with Fred Falke?

  5. mickimicki says @fistula: Haven't... but will in a few seconds thanks to iTunes Store (and the free songs I get from all those codes in the coke bottle caps I talk my grocery store clerk out of and painstakingly type into Coke's nerve-wrecking flash site... it's worth it :-D)

  6. mickimicki says "Rubicon" is some SWEET shit, fistula... my head just hit the ceiling...thanks for the suggestion!

  7. fistula spume says Glad to be of service. That song was on almost every one of my mix CD's in 2005. I think that whole CD's probably worth getting. Just based on Music Sounds Better With You and Rubicon.

  8. Anna says Hehe it's a very happy song :) Oh, and I also think that everyday should be Cuba Libre day ;)

  9. mickimicki says Anna, you are so right. Once I finish the translation I'm toiling away at, I'll pour me a tall one. Or two. Hasta La Victoria Siempre, comrade girl!

  10. CrashPryor says ...this is nice Micki, great to check after running in the hamster wheel all day...now, I'll throw you a clip from the Godfather of House, Sylvester...who seems to be asking one of life's burning questions...

  11. mickimicki says Crash: Lyn Collins here has an answer to Sylvester's "burning life's question".

  12. glammerhammer says Love that song, so darn catchty...Fistula- we must have the same cds, because I was just thinking that it wasn't a good mix cd, unless this track was on it...I think this was on a dimitri from paris cd, right?

  15. Jonh Ingham says Actually I did the classic response of uncoolness...'You mean that's NOT a Human League song???'
    Permalink posted 02/16/2007
  16. mickimicki says John, I'm being really stupid right now.... what Human League song would that be? I guess the obvious choice would be this?

  17. Jonh Ingham says No, I'm being literal. On the album Hysteria they did a cover version of it.

  18. mickimicki says Oh. That explains everything ;-)
