For a Young Marlena Shaw Lover

Posted about 4 years ago
A while ago, LLCodyB made this post with Marlena Shaw's version of ??California Soul??, and Lester Jonze was good enough to add ??Woman Of The Ghetto??. Now, while I was playing them, my son was around...(here he is at the age of 2...)He was particularly impressed in MS's "gegegegengegeng" styles. So to keep my boy happy, I dug up this dance hit from 96 or 97 which includes prominent samples of the two Marlena Shaw tunes mentioned. Needless to say, the boy is very happy with it... and "gengegegegegengeng"-ing away.
