Funky Friday: Remember to Take Time Off To Be Close To The Ladies!

Hey Fellas...2serenity wrote that Crashpryor had been working on a GoGo post before he left us... no Crash post coming just now... but I thought I'd post one of my favourite "bombs" to remind you all to take that time off to be close to your ladies! There's Red Snapper remix I like even better... coming in comments...

    Cody B says Certified Funky One of my favorite all time live shows was catching Trouble Funk at the Palladium, right here in NYC..Non-Stop party..I miss go-go. You wouldn't happen to have that Junkyard Band Song, Sardines would ya'..It came out on Def Jam during the Go Go craze..

    2Serenity says Hey, Trouble Funk! They are so raw and funky! Gosh, I wish you guys could experience a go go concert. It is fun and you get a serious work out!! I mean to the point that your entire body is wet from dancing non-stop!! Enclosed is the first Go Go song I ever heard called Sardines (and Pork & Beans) I heard it when I was about 7 or 8. It is so dumb lyrically but the beat. Ahh..the beat! That is what Go Go is all about. Mixing it up with different sounds but adding and African flair to it. The older Go Go music is my favorite because that is what I heard on the radio growing up but now that I am not in DC I have not followed the current scene except for Chuck Brown.
