Wevie Stonder

Artist:
Once again my love of British humour is proven by the amount of time Wevie Stonder's latest album "The Bucket" has been occupying my ITunes. And why not, after all, songs about characters who are "swimming in a raindrop, living in a thimble" or talking about mid-album crises and asking questions like "like what time is it, why are we here, why are you here?" are just the type of tacky juvenile fun we like. And it's not only the lyrics mind you, the accompanying ride o' fun is well-versed in IDM and polka (among others)!. If you like Cassetteboy, early Dat Politics, 90's wacky Aquabats humour don't miss this. Just check out 2.25 on Small People, the second that amen beat drops, an aural bliss. Out on their own Cack Records, which promotes itself as the first record label to pay you to listen to their music. Funny chaps.
