hype of the day playlist
Happy Friday!Click below for my filtered-down hype-machine playlist from a couple days back...Some days i know exactly what i want to listen to, but lately, i've been basking in the hype-machine's entropic glory. I hope it stays around - the RIAA could probably put them against the wall but 1. they've got bigger fish to fry, and 2. hype-machine probably helps artists and labels more than they hurt (not that that hasn't stopped the riaa before... see the old, good mp3.com...).Launch. Listen. Love. But do it soon cause the mp3s linked off of blog posts can have a pretty short lifespan it seems...and yes, the 1st track on my playlist sounds just like that white strokes band, you know the one. i just like it cause they’re shouting about cubicles. Rawk the office fools!Other highlights, parenthesis by Blow. Love it and it is not my style at all. Mtn Goats? Gonna have to check them out too.Uploaded here .but apparently this server is not familar with the mime/type for the m3u extension... I could try another server, but if i was too lazy to cut this down beyond 19 tracks, do you think i'm gonna do that? Quick test: IE works, Firefox shows it as text. On FF, you just need to do a "save page as", save to your desktop, and launch from there.Lemme know what you think... and hopefully hit me back with some m3u-love!
