I think one of my favorite albums last year was The Back Room by the Editors. Bad news=we have to wait a bit for a new album. Good news=on 14 November they released a remix EP that has some great reworkings on it.track listing:1. Camera (Sebastian Remix)2. Munich (Ghislain Porier Remix)3. All Sparks (Prince Language Remix)4. Blood (P Nice Remix)mp3 shoeboxEditors~All Sparks Phones re-mixthis one reminds me of Depeche ModeHere's more info from the press release...Sebastian ("Camera")Sebastian is a member of the Ed Banger crew in Paris, which also includes buzzed-about producers/DJs Justice and Medhi, as well as teen electro rapper Uffie. Along with producing original tracks and beats for his fellow Ed Bangers, Sebastian has completed remixes for the Rapture, Annie, and Cut Copy.Ghislain Porier ("Munich")This Montreal producer is best known for his recent album Breakupdown (Chocolate Industries), remixes for Lady Sovereign's "Fiddle With The Volume," and original electro-dancehall cuts on the Shockout label. He opened Lady Sovereign's US tour with DJ sets, and runs a popular party in MTL called Bounce Le Gros specializing in beats from around the world: dancehall, grime, baile funk, and more.Prince Language ("All Sparks")NYC's Prince Language rocks clubs around the world with his personalized mix of vintage disco, house, and new jams from around the world. He's released well-received mixtapes (most notably "Negroclash" with DJ Lindsey and Duane) and secretive disco re-edits, along with an official compilation for BBE, "Real Music For Real People." Last year he released two collaborations with Lindsey on vocals ("Blue Miles" and "Won't Do It") and is currently in the studio working on more originals and remixes.P Nice ("Blood")P Nice is one of the Certified Bananas DJs, the mash-up masters behind the hit "Sprang" mix CD and other online favorites. Originally based in Providence RI and now living in Brooklyn, P Nice's uptempo "Boston Bounce" remixes of Juelz Santana and even DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince's "Summertime" were hits with selectors around the country. Along with this Editors track, P Nice has also recently lent his remixing touch to young Boston band Blanks, and is working on music with his band Miss Fairchild.
