Well, I heard this song for the first time on the OC (don't judge me ;) I just like the Character of Seth Cohen and the soundtrack which is pretty amazing for this kind of TV Show. And this is also the only TV Show where you can see such great bands like Death Cab or Modest Mouse appearing as guests. I just remember that the rythm perfectly matched with the scrapie leg of Seth Cohen, wondering if yes or not, he had to come back to Newport Beach at the beginning of the second season. Just to say that, thanks to the OC, I discovered a lot of great songs, and that's one of the major reasons why I have to admit that I loved it :) This song is just one of the best examples.
