FEELING THE ALOHA
-
Artist:
The spring of 2007 was the first time I felt the music of Aloha. We had gone to see Danny Couch's show
at the Sheraton in Waikiki, Hi. I did not expect him to be there right at the door to the show room, How many entertainers are greeting you at the door? Danny came out on stage and just lit up the room with his wonderful charismatic presence by singing " Hawaii, My Paradise". If you like his music and have not seen him perform, please do so, when you see that he is scheduled to have a show. You will fall in love with this warm, wonderful man's music.
Danny took the time to interact with the audience on a warm one on one basis, just like we were family,in his home. When Danny sang his romantic ballads like Kuuipo {My Sweetheart). You feel like the song is just for you. Danny sings the words and the emotions of any song he performs. Danny is united as one with his song and his audience. His music will become a part of your forever. When Danny sang These Islands, I was so filled with emotion I cried.
Danny's show lasted 90 minutes, and seemed to go much to fast. Afterward, Danny took time to talk to all of his guests., we all now felt like his friends. I left feeling elated but a little sad like I had to leave a dear friend that I had traveled a long way to visit. I could write pages and pages about how great Danny's music is, but I think I will let you listen yourself. I know you have been working hard all day, so please sit back, relax and and go to where you can listen to full versions of Danny Couch's songsand if you would like to purchase his CDs,please go to his official website
