MOG MOG

What we're talking about here is the electronica made for the clubs.
Do you hold this stuff to a lower standard? I do. The album doesn't have to be unique or challenging. The "musicians" don't need to be particularly skilled. And the lyrics - if there are any - really don't have to be worth shit. The result is that I end up with a lot of average albums that don't hold up over time. Things like Technotronic (what was I thinking!!), DJ DB, Thievery Corporation, and Supreme Beings of Leisure.
So why did I upload this song? And why do I keep listening to it (and the SBL eponymous album)? Beats me. But when I want something electronic, this is what I reach for.

I like SBL and TC, but I don't listen to them a lot. I like to put them on for background music while I do housework. This may explain why I don't listen to them a lot. :)
