Oh yes, it's a happy day, new Kanye, and unlike me previous expectations it's good new Kanye stuff! I'm not gonna weigh this post down with too much writing because i just haven't listened to Graduation enough to really write anything of substance, but i can definetely say that there's a lot of good stuff here! "Drunk and Hot Girls", as amazing as the title sounded to me, is the album's biggest stumble however, almost as bad as the John Mayer track (that thank god was made an itunes bonus), but with that exception it's all sounding like The Don is back in fine fashion. So while Flashing Lights is for sure the highlight of the album for me, Champion is undeniably the fucking jam of the album, it has to be the next single, i can get down to this song in more ways than i can count on both hands (i'm pretty talented in "getting down" if you didn't already know), plus a certain Spencer Owen (and fellow Ye admirer) will appreciate the sample going on here courtesy of Steely Dan's "Kid Charlemagne"...right?
with no further ado, "Champion" track two of Kanye's new abum Graduation due out September 11th...don't forget to buy it and force 50 cent into no longer making his patented brand of nauseating mainstream "hustler/gangsta" rap!
