Davic Cross: Funny Man

Man David Cross is awsome, not only is he on two of the greatest shows that are no longer with us (Arrested Development, Mr. Show), but he's also been in music videos for The Strokes, Yo La Tengo, The New Pornographers, and Superchunck(had to make it some what music related, right?). As if that wasn't enough he also stuck it to Larry The Cable (who really sucks ass in case you didn't know) by essentialy calling him a homophobic millionare in cutoff flannel to which Mr. Cable Guy responded in his book, so aptly titled "Git-R-Done" (god i hate him) by saying "{Cross} screwed my fans". You gotta check out his set from the Earl in Atlanta which i found on the Cable and Tweed blog, it's just the kind of decently recorded hilarity to brighten your monday blues.Git R' Done...

    LadyC says I have to say I've never had the chance to see much of Cross' work being overseas, without telly, etc. Michel Gondry did this messed up short (it's on his DVD) that cracked me up. I think a film too. Have you seen either?

    the austrich says Yes! David Cross is the man. I watch Mr. Show all the time before heading off to work. And thanks to Mr. Cross, everytime I see or hear a mention of the Blue Man Group I see his goofy, painted self in my head. Get THAT Done ya damn Cable Guy.
