So first and foremost, yay for the first post, now that that's out of the way, yay, Casey Dienel. Just one more singer-songwritter, i know, like we need more, but read on.
Casey's music is very similar to our beloved Broken Social Scener Feist, simple but joyous jazzy, soft rocking beauty. It's the kind of stuff you put on when, like i did tonight, you're preparing a nice meal, or perhaps before you drift off to sleep. But don't just take it from me, NPR (who have recently fallen in love with any and all things indie, blogged about, and hyped) recently featured Casey, and we all know what NPR says goes (dumb, for those of you in the bay, or should i say, yay area).
