MUSIC SIGNPOSTS ON THE WEB'S LONELY ROAD

we took a couple of months off there, now we're back in the studio, adding some final stuff, a coupla new new songs, and starting to mix in a couple of days.

daniel's been cooking every night, which is a treat, i tell you. there are blackberry bushes all around the studio. we had blackberry cobbler last night. omgod.

we played at the gorge the other day. what an amazing site. hot in the sun, chilly in the wind, just like september is in new york.

Any recipes that Daniel cares to pass along? Nada Surf Cookbook (accompanied by musical recommendations to eat said food by) could be fun! Because, you know, I'm sure you guys have nothing better to do.... Can't wait for the new music and for you guys to come to LA.

I was one of the people who got to enjoy your set at the Gorge last weekend--thanks for the great show! Funny how it wasn't chilly at all in the pit but the wind was certainly blowing. I got a couple of good pictures of you guys...like this one and this one... and this one... =O)

(BTW: sure you aren't the special guests?????)

The last paragraph has foresight... so much so feels like friends are possible that's something you do that you don't know that counts sooo much I love blackberries not as much as raspberry cooked but Seattle seems amazing now Is the studio facing in or out

Just wanted to write you a couple of lines...

Loving "See These Bones". I hope to see you guys live in Toronto soon. This long time fan finally had a chance to see you play (after years of living in countries with no tour stops) a couple of times and was reminded why your music connects with me.

Take care, nos vemos pronto.
