just typed longest appreciation of isla st clair's 1971 debut i'm listening to. so amazing. then hit the wrong button....gotta go. drat, be back.

It's like playing around on a guitar, finding the perfect riff for a song, but then completely forgetting it 'cause I was drunk. uhh, I mean you - you were drunk.. It sucks, but it's motivating to know it exists and that it's inside of you somewhere. But hey, if you decide to rewrite it, it'll probably be better 'cause you've processed it all. Long posts tend to waver in and out of coherency when people write them as they're thinking of it.

    dj ivi says never trust a window that is online! i've done this so many times too! written a killer post or email, that i thoroughly researched or took a lot of time with, and then tried to edit, hit the backspace button, and somehow my web browser thought i wanted to go back a page! needless to say, those posts and emails were gone when i hit forward page. sucks, coz you can never write it up as well after this happens!
