listening to phosphorescent. had the pleasure of seeing him at glasslands in brooklyn. he wore a shirt with lightbulbs in it. i don't know if he does that all the time, but it was spectacular. the new nada surf record is finished. it's called lucky. it'll be out in early february. i love it.

My life is a bit of a rollercoaster right now, and as usual I find myself turning up "Let Go" and suddenly the air becomes more breathable. Only album I own that does that for me. Not The Smiths. Not my Pixies, though they used to. Not some sugared power pop and not even Pet Sounds. Just "Let Go". Taking the opportunity to thank you for it. Merci pour la musique mon pote.

Je suis définitivement conquise par la musique de Nada Surf et par ta douceur. J'espère pouvoir assister à l'un des concerts de la tournée européenne peut-être au Razz à Barcelone, en attendant je continue l'écoute de ce dernier opus que j'apprécie beaucoup.
