Mark Ryden's cover art for Jack Off Jill's album

Posted almost 2 years ago

I was so afraid that I might have lost my MOG account because MOG's new frontpage design didn't look familiar. I remember it being black and brown. I don't check this site very often, but I want to start writing in it more. So there's this Mark Ryden signing event in my city. It already pass, but he was here in San Francisco to sign his new book "The Snow Yak Show" at SFMOMA. I did not buy the book because I was nearly broke. My friend works at the museum, so she gave me one of her postcards signed by Mark Ryden, and she also bought the book while I was waiting in line at The Last Exorcism screening. She gave me a pink Lincoln pin, which was nice. Then I had remembered that I used to listen to this band called Jack Off Jill back when I was like 12 or 13 years old. He did the artwork for Jack Off Jill's album cover art called "Clear Hearts Grey Flowers", which was released in 2000. That was way back long ago. I like their music and Mark Ryden's artwork was perfect for their album cover, I thought.
