BRMC is a great band, especially live. This is something a little different for them but it shows an interesting side to their repertoire. This Dylan tune dates back to 1964 near the time of the actual and very sad event that he's describing in the song. Enjoy...

I'm drawn to covers like a roach to a flame, but in the end..... >This is almost imitation/parody/characature. But all of those things are part of the risk of covering Dylan, it almost cannot be helped. So this ain't bad, but except as a performer's homage, it has no reason to exist. Carbon copies are bogus. A performer's homage is, in fact, what it is. They weren't after blazing up the charts with this one as it is an obscure find. It's sort of sitting around a fire with the band after the show kinda stuff and only exists because someone had the machine running. I also think that though it lacks in the originality department, it's good to see younger bands appreciating the master. JMHV.

Yeah, you're right of course. It is good to hear _any_ musician diggin' around for the roots.

And it shows another side to them - which I find more appealing than their basic sound. DMDM, stop with the tuber metaphors!
