This song reminds me of my mother. She had an extensive collection of LPs and 45's in our closet. When she passed on, the only way I could connect with her was through her collection. I came across artists like Teddy pendergrass, Al green, the list goes on. At that time I was not much of a fan of old school soul music as I am now, I was a Micheal Jackson freak. Any who, I found the 45 of Anita Ward and Sweet Splendor was the B-Side. It is a song that is LOVE! Romantic, tender, reaching for the one you adore and never wanting to let go of. It holds a special magical feeling when I hear it. I have the LP of songs of love but I have no turn table to plat it on. I hope who ever reads this post likes the song as much as I do. Enjoy!
