Neil Diamond has a new album out, Home Before Dark, and it's great to hear the legend at it again. I've only had a chance to listen to the album once or twice so far, but the first track, If I Don't See You Again, is my favorite so far.

Word to this.  I've been lovin Neil for years.  He was the first concert I ever went to.  I've got the new one and it's great!

Gilles Peterson has been ripping it up during his last several Worldwide shows.

One of my favorite standouts is a re-edit of Sea of Tranquility by Ahu, which ads a funky, laid back guitar riff over K&G's original horns.

I knew nothing of Stan Tracey at the time, and looking back am grateful to have come across this melody and the album, Under Milkwood (actually, Jazz Suite Inspired by Dylan Thomas' "Under Milk Wood") - one of the most well-respected jazz recordings to come out of the UK.
