I went to check out the Hot Springs last night at Parc des Ameriques in Montreal and they put a on a rocking show. For a small outdoor show it sounded pretty good, the crowd however were far too subdued and that made it a bit difficult to really get into. As it was a free show put on by Pop Montreal (I can't wait for the real festival in October, www.popmontreal.com) in conjunction with a street fair they only had a forty minute set but they still played their best songs and we got a taste of 3 new songs...it's only been a year since Valcano came out but I'm ready for the followup and from what I heard of their new stuff it sounded great.
